10:00 a.m. Meeting point in Madalena do Pico - departure from the João Quaresma ferry terminal.
Jeep trail in the central plateau of Pico Island. Stop to visit the Lagoas do Capitão do Caiado and Lagoa Seca. Stop at the Prainha viewpoint with a short nature trail (30 minutes). Pass through the village of São Roque do Pico. 1:00 p.m. Regional lunch at a local restaurant.
Nature trail in Criação Velha (10 minutes). Visit to Cachorro, Lajido de Santa Luzia, Arcos, and Cabrito, including the vineyards (UNESCO heritage site) and Casa dos Vulcões with guided tour. 5:30 p.m. Arrival at the João Quaresma maritime terminal in Madalena do Pico.
