Valea Doftanei: Off-Road Forest & Mountain Adventure 3-Hour Off-Road Adventure

Escape Bucharest for an unforgettable off-road adventure in the heart of the Romanian mountains. Explore wild forest trails and spectacular ridgelines behind the wheel of an ATV, BUGGY, UTV or SSV.
Leave the city behind and escape into the heart of the Romanian mountains, within easy reach of both Bucharest and Brașov. In Valea Doftanei, forests, mountain trails, panoramic ridgelines and wild landscapes become your playground for an unforgettable off-road adventure.

Meet your professional guide, receive a safety briefing and get familiar with your ATV, BUGGY, UTV or SSV before heading into the mountains. Leave the asphalt behind and discover forest roads, muddy trails, mountain climbs and spectacular ridges, reaching places and viewpoints that most visitors never get to experience.

Choose from 1, 2 or 3-hour guided adventures, depending on how much you want to explore. Routes can be adapted to your group, from relaxed scenic rides through the forest to exciting off-road sections and more challenging mountain trails. With different routes and difficulty levels available, there are options for families, beginners and experienced off-road enthusiasts.

Tell your guide what kind of experience you are looking for and, whenever conditions allow, the route can be adapted to your preferences, experience level and desired level of adventure.

For the ultimate experience, choose a personalized full-day private adventure and travel deeper into the mountains. Explore remote trails, mountain peaks, forests and spectacular viewpoints, with more time for scenic stops and photos. A full-day experience can also include a stop for a traditional Valea Doftanei lunch, allowing you to discover authentic local flavors while spending the day in the mountains.

Throughout the experience, our professional guides lead the way and use their knowledge of the local terrain to select the right route for your group and the conditions of the day. Discover a beautiful part of Romania away from the usual tourist routes.

Every season brings a different adventure. Sunshine, rain, mud and snow transform the landscape and give the trails a completely new character. Tours operate throughout the seasons when conditions allow, with routes adapted to the weather, terrain and safety requirements. Experience dry summer trails, colorful autumn forests, muddy tracks after the rain or spectacular snowy landscapes in winter.

More than simply driving an ATV, BUGGY, UTV or SSV, this is your chance to experience the freedom of the Romanian mountains from a completely different perspective, combining adventure, nature, off-road driving and spectacular scenery.

Whether you are visiting Bucharest or Brașov, escape the city and discover the wild side of Romania. Come for an hour of excitement or spend an entire day exploring. Valea Doftanei takes you into the heart of the mountains, where the road ends and the real adventure begins.
