Enjoy a memorable, 3 to 4-hour ride on the central streets of Bucharest with a fully restored Dacia 1310 car from the 80's. You'll get unique photos with one of Romania's iconic vehicles. Your tour guides will drive you around in this impressive automobile, giving you an experience of the streets of Bucharest only the locals know. During your tour, you will visit three distinctly different neighborhoods. Each of them, showcasing a different class of Romanian people: the bourgeoisie, the average people, and the poor Romanians. Discover the facts of life for people in each community as you drive through a neighborhood representing each social class.
Cotroceni neighborhood: Witness the amazing residential, villa quarter of Bucharest where the 19th-century and present bourgeoisie live. Discover the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, the Military Academy Building, the Botanical Garden or the villas. During your tour of this area, you will stop for stories, presented by your informative guide and plenty of photo opportunities.
Drumul Taberei neighborhood: Take a stroll through a neighborhood where the average Romanian lives. Discover the huge communist blocks of flats, the peasant market and the Orthodox churches frequented by the average Romanians.
Ferentari neighborhood: Witness one of the most photographic & contrasting places of Bucharest known as the “Machala city" an area of high poverty and ghetto style buildings. Here, you will learn about the everyday struggles of Romania's poor and underclasses.
After you have visited each neighborhood, your driver will take you back to your accommodation after a fun an informative day.

• Dacia 1300/1310 is a 1970s/1980s vintage car that does not include AC, ABS, GPS navigation servo-direction or automatic gear drive
• The Dacia meets all necessary safety traffic regulations
• During winter, the cars are heated
• Pets and children under the age of 10 are not allowed on this tour
