Expect to wait in line for around 15-30 minutes to enter the Basilica. You will also be required to You pass through metal detectors at the entrance of the square
The Dome's terrace might not be accessible during bad weather
Modest clothing is required to enter the Basilica (knees and shoulders should be covered)
If the Vatican decides to close the Basilica for any religious reasons, your tour will be rescheduled or you will be offered a full refund
