Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Dakar or the surrounding areas. Travel to Bandia Wildlife Reserve, about 1.5 hours from Dakar. Spend around 2 hours exploring the reserve and enjoying the classic safari experience—comfortably seated, with great photo opportunities. Next, continue to the Lagoon of Somone, about 30 minutes from Bandia.
Take a 1-hour boat ride through peaceful mangroves, a beautiful natural habitat known for its rich birdlife and tranquil waterways. You’ll have time to stop for lunch (optional, not included) before heading back.
