From Trujillo: Huacas de Moche, Chan & Huanchaco Beach Tour

We will start this fascinating excursion from our meeting point at Trujillo's Main Square at 10:00 a.m. From there, we will head southeast of Trujillo, where we will explore the Moche countryside, a place that will allow us to learn about the life and traditions of the local farming communities.
We will make a first stop to admire the Huacos de la Fertilidad, a series of sculptures that represent the cultural richness of the region. Then, we will visit the Cerro Blanco handicraft workshop, where we will have the opportunity to witness a live show of the pottery making process, a tradition that has endured throughout time.
We will continue our adventure at the Museum of the Huacas de Moche, where we will learn about the impressive Mochica culture, which flourished in this area before the arrival of the Incas. Afterwards, we will head to the Huacas del Sol and the Huacas de la Luna, two emblematic temples that will tell us more about this pre-Inca civilization.
After an enriching tour, we will return to downtown Trujillo to enjoy a delicious lunch. Once refueled, we will continue our visit to the Chan Chan Museum, where we will enter the majestic Chan Chan citadel. There, we will admire the decorative friezes on its walls, which represent birds, fish and other sculptures that tell the daily life of the Chimú.
To culminate our guided tour, we will head to Huanchaco Beach, where you will have free time to explore the pier and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Finally, we will return to the city of Trujillo, leaving the participants near the Plaza Mayor around 6:30 p.m., full of memories and learning about this rich cultural heritage.
