Today, Zapiain is one of the region's best-selling ciders, found in supermarkets across the Basque Country and proudly served in renowned restaurants, including Michelin-starred establishments.
Despite producing over 1.5 million liters of cider each year, the company operates with a remarkably small team of just nine people. Every bottle is made exclusively from apples grown in the Basque Country, sourced from both the family's own orchards and trusted local growers, reflecting a strong commitment to local agriculture and regional identity.
During the guided visit, you'll explore the cider cellar, where traditional chestnut barrels dating back to 1964 stand alongside modern production facilities.
