From July 24 to September 5, every Friday and Saturday at 9:00 PM, the cathedral organizes live concerts that will end in the cloister with a glass of cava.
A musical series with two complementary offerings
This year, the Summer Nights are structured around two distinct offerings.
Fridays will feature organ concerts by organists Jordi Vergés and Jonathan Carbó, a unique opportunity to discover the rich sound of one of the most emblematic elements of the Cathedral of Tarragona.
On Saturdays, the spotlight will be on guest artists and groups who will offer a diverse program with concerts of lyrical music, classical repertoire, and traditional music, among other offerings. Confirmed performances include Awen Duet; Alba and Santi Careta, with Sons d'un país; GOIG, a show inspired by gozos and oral tradition; Gerard Flotats, one of the most internationally renowned young Catalan cellists; and Pau i Aina and Cobla La Mitja Lluna, a Tarragona-based group dedicated to reviving and breathing new life into Catalonia's musical heritage.
