Our unique concept allows you to discover exciting Thai traditions and ways of life in a very special, private atmosphere at our home in Khao Lak in the beautiful Chong Fah Valley. About us:
We are Poppy & Katharina, a Thai-German couple.
Poppy is a passionate chef and diving instructor originally from Bangkok. He started cooking at the age of ten under the guidance of his grandmother.
Katharina – the cultural bridge of the duo – has lived and worked in Thailand and Asia for many years.
The Program:
04:45 PM – 05:15 PM Pick-up from the hotel lobby
5:30 pm Welcome and introduction with snacks at the Palm House Café
Afterwards: Guided walking tour through the plantations and the garden – learn all about plants & herbs
18:30 Dinner
+Active participation: Prepare your own Som Tum (papaya salad)
+Group dinner – various dishes served in typical Thai style – i.e., we share all dishes
+ Thai desserts
+Coffee or tea
9:00 PM Drop-off at the hotel or Bang Niang bar street

The food is served in typical Thai "family style" (all dishes are placed in the middle of the table for sharing)

We will walk about 300 meters through the plantations, so please wear appropriate footwear (no high heels).
Parents are responsible for their children and have a duty of supervision. Our house is on a river, has an open pool, and no railings on the terrace.
