Fo Guang Shan is a renowned Buddhist temple in Taiwan and an international Buddhist organization,founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1967. Its main monastery is located in Dashu District,Kaohsiung,Taiwan. Fo Guang Shan belongs to Chinese Mahayana Buddhism and follows the Linji school,one of the Eight Schools of Chinese Buddhism.However,Venerable Master Hsing Yun advocated the concept of "Humanistic Buddhism" emphasizing that Buddhist teachings should be integrated into daily life and practiced within modern society.
Moon World is a famous natural landscape located in Tianliao District,Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.It is renowned for its spectacular and desolate badland terrain Named "Moon World" due to its grayish-white, barren surface that resembles the landscape of the Moon,it is also referred to as "the scar of the Earth" As one of Taiwan's rare geological wonders, it is a popular destination for geotourism and photography.

The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are located by Lotus Pond in Zuoying District,Kaohsiung City. Built in 1976, they are a landmark that blends Eastern religious culture with magnificent architecture.The twin towers, each seven stories tall, are distinguished by their vibrant dragon and tiger designs, symbolizing the traditional belief of "entering through the dragon’s mouth and exiting through the tiger’s mouth" to ward off evil and invite good fortune. Visitors can enter through the dragon’s mouth and exit through the tiger’s, enjoying colorful Koji ceramic murals along the way that depict ancient moral tales,offering both educational and cultural significance.
The Pier-2 Art Center is located in the Yancheng District of Kaohsiung City. Originally built in 1973,it was once a key hub for cargo loading, unloading, and storage within the Kaohsiung Port area. As the port industry underwent transformation, the warehouses gradually fell into disuse. Starting in 2001,local artists and cultural workers began advocating for the revitalization of the area. In 2006, the Kaohsiung City Bureau of Cultural Affairs officially took over its management, transforming it into a multifunctional cultural and creative park that integrates art,design,performance, and creative industries.
