Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Meet your guide, chef, and fellow travelers before departing on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, and zebras. After a picnic lunch, continue exploring before heading to a public campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on a 6-hour drive to Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the crater viewpoint for breathtaking views, and optionally visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions. Arrive in Serengeti by late afternoon for a game drive in Seronera, known for its abundant wildlife. Spend the night at Nyani Campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Start the day with an early morning game drive to witness the park’s rich wildlife in action. Return to camp for lunch, pack up, and enjoy another game drive while exiting the park. Travel to Ngorongoro and set up camp at Simba Campsite, near the crater’s rim, where you may spot nocturnal wildlife roaming nearby.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater after an early breakfast for a chance to see the rare black rhino, as well as lions, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending and heading to a public campsite near Lake Manyara National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse birdlife and tree-climbing lions. Visit the hippo pool and hot springs, and spot various wildlife, including warthogs, wildebeests, and monkeys. In the afternoon, return to Arusha and stay at a public campsite, preparing for the Kilimanjaro adventure.

Day 6: Mount Kilimanjaro
Embark on a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro via Marangu or Machame Gate, trekking through lush rainforests with breathtaking scenery. Although reaching the summit isn’t possible in a day, shorter hikes provide stunning views. After an enriching trek, return to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off for the evening.
