Embark on a 8-day adventure to Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest peak. Then, go on a safari to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater & lake Eyasi.

Day 1: Arrival - Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your safari guide who will pick you up and start your trip to Arusha city. If time allows, depending on your arrival time, your safari guide will take you for an Arusha town tour. Visit the Central market, Maasai market, National Natural history museum, and Cultura heritage. After the tour, your guide will take you to a hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
Your adventure begins at the Momella Gate, where you'll embark on a gradual ascent through lush rainforest. As you climb, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Miriakamba Hut, your first overnight stop, offers a comfortable base to rest and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 3: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
The trail steepens as you ascend towards the Saddle Hut. The vegetation changes dramatically, transitioning from rainforest to moorland and eventually alpine desert. As you gain altitude, the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks become increasingly breathtaking.

Day 4: Saddle Hut to Summit and Descent to Miriakamba Hut
This is the most challenging day of the trek. You'll start your summit attempt before dawn, ascending through the scree slope to the summit. The final push to the peak is demanding, but the reward is unparalleled a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, including Mount Kilimanjaro. After conquering the summit, you'll descend back to Miriakamba Hut.

Day 5: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate - Arusha
The final day involves a steady descent through the forest, leading to Momella Gate and the end of your Mount Meru adventure. As you descend, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey you've completed. After the trek, return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up and then drive to Tarangire National Park. Once you arrive at the park, start the game drive. You can find many zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and even lions and cheetahs. At the end of the day, head to a tented lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart with lunch boxes, today you’ll visit Ngorongoro Crater, down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that shelters lions and hyenas, elephants and black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals.

Day 8: Ngorongoro - Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyas for a half-day cultural experience. Visit the Datoga and Hadzabe tribe. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha where your safari adventure will come to an end. Your safari guide will drive you straight to Arusha Airport/ hotel/lodge for your onward flight.
