Day 1:Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara, where your expert safari guide will welcome you and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey is a scenic 2-hour drive through the picturesque landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Manyara is known for its stunning views and rich biodiversity, particularly the famous tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive to explore the park’s various ecosystems, from its dense forests to its open woodlands and grassy plains.

The park is also home to various animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, take a break at a beautifully situated picnic site, where you can relax and enjoy lunch. Afterward, head towards the village of Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll experience local Tanzanian culture firsthand.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
On the second day of your safari, enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage site is often referred to as the "Eden of Africa" due to its rich biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes.

The crater is home to over 30,000 animals, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinoceros, and buffalo—and more than 500 species of birds. Begin with a morning game drive inside the crater, maximizing your chances of spotting a wide variety of wildlife.

The crater’s walls form a natural amphitheater, offering incredible vistas and opportunities for wildlife photography. After a 40-minute lunch stop near a hippo pool, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature, continue your game drive in the afternoon.

By the end of the day, your safari adventure will conclude with a return drive to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where you’ll catch a flight back home.
