Day 1: Airport Pick-Up – Drop Off At Hotel
On Day 1 of your journey, receive airport pick-up and transfer to your designated hotel. Relax, refresh, and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Ensure a smooth start to your adventure, giving you the comfort and peace of mind you deserve. If you have any specific requirements or questions, the team will be available to assist you throughout the day.
Day 2: Moshi-Marangu Gate To Mandara Hut
Begin your trek from the Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut. Traverse through lush rainforest and spot wildlife along the way.
Day 3: From Mandara Hut To Horombo Hut
Continue your journey to Horombo Hut. Pass through the heath and moorland zone, and enjoy the views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Day 4: Horombo Hut, Mawenzi Ridge and Horombo Hut
Spend the day acclimatizing at Horombo Hut. Take a short hike to Mawenzi Ridge, and return to the hut for the night.
Day 5: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Continue your ascent to Kibo Hut. Pass through the alpine desert zone, and enjoy the views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.
Day 6: Ascent To Uhuru Peak And Descent To Horombo Hut
Begin your ascent to the summit of Uhuru Peak. Reach the top and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Descend to Horombo Hut for the night.
Day 7: Descent From Horombo Hut To Marangu Gate—Moshi
Descend to the Marangu Gate. Receive a transfer back to Moshi.
Day 8: Departure: Kilimanjaro International Airport
Receive a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
