The most famous marine conservation area in Zanzibar, Mnemba Atoll Marine Park houses populations of moray eels, lion fish, stingrays, and more, all in clear waters with high visibility.
After pickup from your Zanzibar accommodation, travel to Muyuni beach or to the northeast coast and board your private boat which will take 45 minutes by boat from North beach Nungwi/Kendwa and 30 minute from Muyuni beach voyage to Mnemba Island, a white-sand island surrounded by a protected marine reserve. Look out for wild dolphins as you sail.
Snack on bottled water and fresh fruits—lunch is not offered unless for special request . Some are known for coral reef and tropical fish, with sea turtle sightings not uncommon; others look out to deeper water and offer the possibility of seeing larger sea creatures.
