Start your tour at 9:00 AM from Mkokotoni local dhow harbor and fishing village. Do a short visit of the place before heading to Tumbatu Island. Take a 30-minute boat ride to the island. Stop at the lagoon to learn the fishing methods used by locals and their fishing traps.

Visit different areas to experience the local’s daily life, from the harbor to meet with dhow crafters and fishermen repairing the nets to the old baobab trees which used to be a school/classroom.
