Elephant Care Camp at Siray Phuket is Phuket's inaugural private beachfront Care Camp, committed to rehabilitating elephants from riding, performances, and labor.
The day starts with pickup from your hotel on the paradise island of Phuket in a spacious, comfortable minivan. Once you arrive, our guides will introduce themselves, and provide you with the tour itinerary, along with an overview of what we are trying to achieve. Then it's off to meet the elephants, which have all come from either the entertainment industry, logging, or those that are unwanted by their owners that have found their way to use so they can have a second chance at having a peaceful and loving life.

Soak up the beauty of the Care Camp with over 40 acres of lush green jungle where our herd can roam freely, and have a place to call home. We'll start by getting today's tasty treats, sugar cane, watermelon, and bananas to share with the elephants and watch them happily munch on their food as our guide introduces you to each elephant, and explains their individual stories.

Now you know each other, it's time to descend to the beach by the cliffside path. Once at the beach, we will give the elephants a few minutes to feel comfortable, then it's time to bathe them in the sea, watch as they slash about, and play happily in the seawater. Get close and help them by scrubbing off dirt, and bugs, and exfoliating their skin as they enjoy your cuddles and love.

Now that you're both clean and have cooled down in the sea waters of Siray Bay, it's time to dry yourself off and head off to the mountain for a walk through the jungle. Head up the mountainside and watch how the elephants navigate the terrain, as they eat anything that looks tasty as you walk back to the Elephant Care Camp overlooking Siray Bay.

You've walked up the mountainside and made it back to camp! But hold up! Now is no time to feel tired because there is still one more activity to participate in, the elephant rain shower. It's an elephant-sized shower where you will help your new friend cool down and freshen up after the mountainside jungle walk.

Elephant health care. Learn how to make and why we make herbal medicine balls for our elephants, and the ingredients needed to ensure they're kept fit and healthy.

It's time to cook! Learn how to make the most traditional Thai dish. Pad Thai with our experienced cooks as they guide you through the cooking process. Once it's finished, it's time to cook what you eat, plus two other dishes prepared by our Thai chefs.

It's all over. Relax, and let your thoughts turn to memories, as you sit back and take in the stunning view of Siray Bay from our clifftop camp.

Your adventure is over, and it's time to head back to your hotel with the memories you made today and the satisfaction of knowing that you have supported these magnificent elephants.
