Embark on a 4-day adventure in Uganda. Visit Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Trek through the rainforest to see gorillas.
Day 1: Entebbe - Lake Mburo National Park
Start your adventure with a pick-up from Entebbe Airport or your hotel. Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Check in and enjoy a late afternoon game drive (if you reach in time).
Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive in the park. See animals such as eland antelope, zebras, topi, impalas, and buffaloes. Alternatively, take a morning bush walk with a guide.
Thereafter, check out and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in and relax as you prepare for the next day's gorilla trekking experience.
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, head to the rangers’ post for a briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure.
The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular. The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 – 2,478 meters.
Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi - Entebbe
Have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of the Bunyonyi little islands. Hit the road for the return to Entebbe. Arrive in the late afternoon/evening for your flight out.
