Option pick up avalable from Naples, Salerno or Amalfi Coast to spend a day exploring Positano and Sorrento with free time . Discover Pompeii excavation , walking through the ruins .
We will drive from Naples to Positano in about an hour and a half. We will stop for some photos on the cliff of the Sorrento coast along the road to get to Positano, to admire the bay, the port and the skyline of Sorrento. Through the hills we will reach the Amalfi coast
A narrow and winding road, but fascinating and wild cliff. We will stop to enjoy the wonderful sea views and a typical fish man beach with a famous Galli's island .then a stop in Positano on a terrace with a 1000 feet high balcony to take other photos . You will have 1 hour of free time to explore the beautiful atmosphere of Positano town, appreciate the famous exclusive ceramics of the local craftsman, enjoy a glass of wine on the beach looking at the sea. Lose yourself in the narrow streets and stairs of this village of cliffs with flowers everywhere. From here we will embark towards Sorrento.
The town is Famous for its historic center shopping local store and exclusive park hotels.
Visit Piazza Tasso-Corso Italia, Vallone dei Mulini, Sorrento Cathedral, Cloister of San Francesco. Try the sorbet, the lemon juice of their fantastic fragrant lemons that make the "Limoncello liqueur" Sorrento is famous for sweets and ice cream too. Do some Shopping thanks to the low prices where you can find good Italian-style leather clothes and local made inlaid wood .
Pompeii will be the last stop, 2 hours to explore these ancient ruins famous all over the world, here you will hear the ancient drama of the historical eruption of the Vesuvius volcano in 79 AD.
Additional free time will be granted in case you want to buy souvenirs.
