Your day begins at approximately 8:00 AM, when your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin. After a scenic 50-minute drive, you’ll arrive at either the Guilin Zhujiang Pier (for the 4-star deluxe boat) or the Mopanshan Pier (for the 3-star standard boat). We highly recommend upgrading to the 4-star Deluxe Cruise, which offers comfortable amenities and a buffet lunch to elevate your experience. The Li River Cruise lasts about 4 hours, during which you’ll marvel at iconic sights such as the Nine-Horse Fresco, the picturesque scene featured on the back of the 20 RMB note at Yellow Cloth Shoal, serene grasslands, farmlands, and uniquely shaped limestone hills resembling brushes, crowns, figures, and goat hooves. As you sail along, the landscape transitions from urban views to tranquil countryside, setting the stage for your arrival in Yangshuo at 1:20 PM.

Afternoon: Exploring Yangshuo’s Charm and Countryside

Upon disembarking in Yangshuo, you’ll have free time to explore its enchanting streets, including the famous West Street, where traditional and international cultures collide. Wander through shops selling embroidered silk fabrics, wax-painted textiles, and intricately designed women’s shoes, or stop by cafes and art galleries for a leisurely break. For those who prefer outdoor exploration, your guide will arrange bicycles for you to ride along one of Yangshuo’s most classic biking routes. Pedal through ancient villages, pastoral scenery, and along the banks of the Yulong River, where water buffaloes graze and stunning karst formations rise majestically against the sky. If you’d rather stay in Yangshuo, simply inform your guide in advance, and they’ll assist with directions to your accommodation.

Evening: Return to Guilin

After a delightful day in Yangshuo, it’s time to head back to Guilin. Board your comfortable private vehicle for a relaxing 1.5-hour ride, giving you ample opportunity to unwind or take a nap before arriving at your hotel.
