Travel along Avenida Marginal to Praia d Bote, Diogo Afonso, Belem Tower; visit the Fish Market, and African Market, then take a stroll on to Church Square where our first community was established. A visit to our Municipal Market is a must! Here, we will find an array of colorful fruits, vegetables, natural teas and handicrafts. Walk our famous Rua Lisboa (the heartbeat of the city) and its barefoot ‘Walk of Fame’ representing the many famous artists, musicians, poets, and writers of Cabo Verde. Stop at the home of Cesária Évora, our Queen of Morna, and famous ‘Barefoot Diva’.
