Go down the rapids of the Verdon River in a canoe-raft accompanied by a guide.
Canoe kayak rafting is the most athletic version of whitewater sports.
Just like in rafting, the boat is inflatable. However, you're alone (or with a partner) on board to steer, propel, and balance the boat.
From his own boat, the guide shows you the way to go and ensures your safety.
You'll need to have some prior canoeing or kayaking experience, even if it's just on a lake.
The course lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Add to that the time for gearing up, briefing, and getting back. Total duration: 4 hours.

This activity is subject to water releases from EDF dams.
If the dam releases a lot of water, the activity is doable
If the dam isn't releasing water, the activity isn't possible
EDF only informs us the day before for the next day. If the canoe raft activity isn't possible, we'll offer you a floating trip instead (a course with a similar difficulty level to the one you booked). If you don't want to do the "fallback" solution, we'll give you a 100% refund. Don't hesitate to let us know as soon as you make your reservation.
Head to the Raft Session base in Castellane. Parking is nearby next to the Salle des Fêtes.
