In order to understand the ruin bar phenomenon and why the concept was born in Budapest (of all places on Earth) you need a local friend at your side – a person who is qualified and experienced enough to teach you about all the Hungarian drinking traditions. This won’t be your regular pub crawl, mind you. We like to call it an educational walk from bar to bar while one experiences Budapest’s greatest contribution to the world’s pub culture.
