Discover Petra on a private day trip from Aqaba.
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or Aqaba Port and transfer you to the rose-red city of Petra, Jordan’s most iconic and breathtaking attraction.
Petra was first established around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and built the foundations of a vast commercial empire extending into Syria.
Upon arrival, you will begin your visit from the Visitor Center and walk through the Djenni Tombs before continuing through the narrow canyon known as the Siq. At the end of the Siq, you will be rewarded with the magnificent view of Petra’s most famous monument, the Treasury (Al-Khazneh).
Your exploration will continue with visits to other remarkable monuments, including the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, the Roman ruins, and Qasr Al-Bint.
After completing your visit to Petra, your driver will be waiting at the Visitor Center to transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch.
