From Marrakech: 3-Day Sahara Desert Tour to Fes

Embark on a 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes. Cross the Atlas Mountains, visit Ait Benhaddou, ride a camel in the Sahara, and spend the night in a desert camp.
Day 1: Over Atlas Mountains, Kasbahs, Berber Villages & Road to Desert

Begin your adventure by crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which offers panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a famous filming location for movies like "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones."

Stop for a photo in Ouarzazate in front of the Kasbah Taourirt and pass through the "Gateway to the Desert." Continue through the Dades Valley and Kelaa M'Gouna, known as the Valley of Roses, before arriving at your hotel for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner before resting up for the next day.

Day 2: Into Sahara, Gorges, Golden Dunes Camel Ride & Starry Night

Begin your day with a walk along the towering Todgha Gorges. Continue your journey to Erfoud and Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Embark on a camel trek through the golden dunes at sunset, then try sandboarding down the dunes. Enjoy a traditional dinner and Berber music around a campfire before spending the night under the stars in a desert camp.

Day 3: Desert Sunrise to Imperial Fes, Cedar Forests & Barbary Apes

Wake up early for a camel ride at sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. Travel through the Ziz Valley, passing large palm groves and rocky landscapes.

Stop in the Middle Atlas Mountains at the Cedar Forest near Azrou to see wild Barbary macaques. Take a break in Ifrane, known as the "Little Switzerland" of Morocco, before arriving in Fes in the evening.
