Embark on a 4-day guided trek to Mardi Himal from Pokhara. Experience the changing landscapes, enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas, and immerse yourself in local culture.
Day 1: Pokhara to Forest Camp (Kokar)
Begin with a 1-hour drive from Pokhara to Kande. Start your trek with a steep climb to Australian Camp, offering your first panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Pass through Pothana and Pitam Deurali before entering a dense rhododendron and oak forest.
Day 2: Forest Camp to High Camp
Enjoy a steady climb through the forest. As you reach Low Camp, the trees begin to thin out. By the time you reach Badal Danda (Cloud Hill), walk along a ridge with spectacular views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.
Day 3: High Camp to Base Camp and back to Siding Village
Start around 4:00 AM to catch the sunrise. Follow a narrow, rocky ridge. First, hit the Upper View Point and then continue to the Base Camp. After soaking in the views, descend back past High Camp to stay at Siding.
Day 4: Siding Village and back to Pokhara
Catch a local jeep or private vehicle for a bumpy but scenic 2.5-hour drive back to Pokhara.
