Wadi Shab is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Oman, located in Tiwi, in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, along the coast of the Gulf of Oman. The word “wadi” refers to a valley or watercourse, and Wadi Shab is famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs, green palm trees, clear turquoise pools, and beautiful natural scenery.
The experience begins near the coast, where we will take a short boat ride (price included) across the water before starting the hike into the wadi. The trail follows the valley between impressive rocky cliffs and palm plantations. Along the way, you will encounter several natural pools where we can stop and relax. (the hike will take approximately 45 each way excluding the rest stops).
One of Wadi Shab's most famous features is the hidden cave and waterfall at the end of the swimming route. If you are an adventurous traveler, you can enter a narrow passage through the rocks and reach the grotto, where sunlight enters through openings in the rock and water flows down the cliffs.
After our adventure at Wadi Shab, we continue along Oman’s beautiful coastal road to Bamah Sinkhole, one of the country’s most remarkable natural landmarks. Surrounded by rugged limestone cliffs, this spectacular natural pool is filled with striking turquoise water, creating a beautiful contrast with the surrounding dry landscape. Take a relaxing walk around the sinkhole, enjoy the panoramic views, and capture unforgettable photographs of this unique geological formation.

After exploring Bamah Sinkhole, we continue our journey to the Quriyat Salt Pans, a coastal landscape where you can discover the traditional salt-harvesting environment and appreciate the natural beauty of Oman's shoreline. Take a peaceful stop to admire the salt formations, observe the surrounding scenery, and capture unique photographs of this distinctive coastal area.
