Visit the southern valley of the Callejón de Huaylas, the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac and enter the Huascaran National Park to visit the Patococha Lagoon, Aguas Gasificadas, Laguna 7 colores, Puyas Raymondi and the Pastoruri glacier.
This day we head south of the city of Huaraz, during the tour we pass through the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa and Catac where we take the detour to the Cordillera Blanca through the Carpa sector, being the first place to visit the source of natural sparkling waters and continuing we will visit PumapaShimi lake of 7 colors and the forest of Puyas Raymondi which is one of the most important plants, representative in the Peruvian Andes reaching up to 12 meters and living 100 years approx, to finally reach the base parking of the Nevado (4800 m) and access walking or with the help of horses (you rent it directly) to the snowy Pastoruri (5000 m) where we will cross its large walls of ice that give us to understand the atrocious retreat of the glaciers due to the global warming of our planet and get views impressive mountain landscape that surrounds this place.
Then we return to the parking lot where the transport that will bring us back to the city of Huaraz awaits us.
