Arequipa: Pillones Waterfalls+ Stone Forest

Enjoy an adventure in nature visiting the Pillones waterfall and the Bosque from stone. .
6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. - Pick up from the hotels located in downtown Arequipa.
Our first stop will be in the village of Pampa de Arrieros, where formerly was the entrance to the white city for people arriving aboard the train.
Then we will go to Patahuasi to drink the traditional Coca Tea, inevitable to avoid altitude sickness (breakfast).
Then we will go to the Bosque de Piedras de Puruña, where we will begin the 40 minutes walk approximately; there we will be able to appreciate the Bosque de Piedras, a natural place with strange rock formations and stone columns.
In approximately one hour we will arrive at the Pillones Waterfall, a magnificent place of connection with nature. We will start the descent to reach the waterfall in approximately 20 minutes; when we arrive at the place we will observe the incredible waterfalls of this impressive waterfall; in the place you will have time to take pictures and enjoy this incredible landscape that surrounds it. We will also be able to observe molded rocks produced by the erosion of the water.
Lunch (Patahuasi).
Finally, after having enjoyed this wonderful landscape we will return to the city.
05.30 p.m. - We will arrive to the city of Arequipa, and we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas.
