From Arequipa: 3-day hike in the Colca Canyon. Start at 7:30 am

Discover the Colca Canyon with a 3-day hike along the best trails and attractions of the canyon. We'll have our first lunch at the top of the canyon with a panoramic view of the Colca Canyon
Day 1. Our tour starts with a pick-up from your accommodation between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning. To head to the Colca Canyon, we'll stop at the volcanoes viewpoint during the tour. Then, we'll continue and stop at the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, and then continue by car to a restaurant located in a natural viewpoint of the Colca Canyon, where we'll have lunch with a beautiful panoramic view of the Colca Canyon. From this viewpoint, we'll hike for two hours along the slopes of the Colca Canyon, passing through different natural viewpoints of the Colca Canyon, until we reach the town of Cabanaconde. In Cabanaconde, we'll settle into our accommodation, then have dinner, and spend our first night.
Day 2. We'll have breakfast at 7:30 AM at our accommodation, then head to San Miguel to start the hike. At 9:00 AM, we'll descend for 3 hours to the village of San Juan de Chucho. In San Juan de Chucho, we'll have lunch, then continue walking for 3 more hours between ups and downs to the Sangalle Oasis. At the Sangalle Oasis, we'll settle into our hotel, enjoy the hotel pool, have dinner, and spend our second night.
Day 3 - At 5:00 a.m., we'll start the 3-hour ascent from Oasis Sangalle to Cabanaconde. In Cabanaconde, we'll have breakfast and then hop on our tourist transport back to the city of Arequipa. On the way back, we'll stop at the Chacapi hot springs, then at Chivay for our last lunch. After that, we'll stop at the volcanoes viewpoint and also at Toqcrapampa to see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat. And we'll be finishing the tour at 5:30 in the afternoon, two blocks from the square.
Our tour is different and special for the following reasons:
1. Unlike normal hiking tours, we start at 7:30 a.m. while they usually offer a 3:00 a.m. start time.
2. On day one, we start the hike from very close to the Mirador del Cóndor to the town of Cabanaconde and spend the night there. What other hiking tours usually offer is a day one hike from the town of Cabanaconde to the town of Sanjuan, sleeping in the town of Sanjuan.
3. Our first lunch is at a country restaurant located on the edge of the Colca Canyon, where we'll enjoy lunch with a panoramic view of the Colca Canyon.
4. Our groups are small, which makes it easier for us to manage and provide attention.
