From Puerto Maldonado: Reserva Tambopata 4-Day + Zipline

Discover the incredible flora and fauna that the Tambopata National Reserve has and live a unique experience getting to know the impressive attractions that the Peruvian jungle has.
DAY 1
Travelers will be met at the airport or bus station and transferred to the lodge. After a brief rest, they will embark on a one-hour introductory walk through the rainforest. After lunch, around 3:30 pm, we will board a boat to travel along the Tambopata River and enjoy the sunset. During the tour, we will look for white caimans and capybaras along the banks. Finally, we conclude the day with a typical Amazonian dinner.
DAY 2
Sandoval Lake
At 5:00 am, we will have breakfast and get ready to visit Sandoval Lake, one of the most beautiful destinations in the Tambopata National Reserve, famous for its biodiversity. We will take a boat ride of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to the entrance of the lake, and then walk 3 kilometers to reach this piranha habitat. Afterwards, we will navigate in a rowboat on the lake to observe various species of birds and monkeys, such as cormorants, herons, eagles, howler and capuchin monkeys. We may also spot giant otters and caimans. We will return to the lodge at 11:45 am to enjoy lunch, and in the evening, we will take a night walk in the forest with flashlights, looking for nocturnal animals and plants, such as night monkeys, frogs, tarantulas, rodents, owls and snakes. . Amazonian dinner.
DAY 3
Parrot clay lick and zip-line
At 5:00 am, we will get ready to enjoy a unique spectacle with different species of parrots that inhabit the Amazon region. We will embark and depart by land or river, traveling approximately one hour from the lodge. Upon arrival, we will observe a large number of parrots gathered on a clay wall, where they feed on minerals essential for their diet and detoxification. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious continental breakfast and have free time until lunch. After lunch, we will take a short break before heading to a 30-meter tower, where we will equip ourselves with safety equipment for an extreme adventure activity (zip line). We will end the day with an Amazonian dinner.

DAY 4
House of the monkeys and sloth search
We will sail for 30 minutes on the Tambopata River to reach the monkey house, where we will observe various species such as the squirrel monkey, howler monkey and spider monkey, and we will have the opportunity to touch them, feed them and play with them. Then, in the Madre de Dios River, we will look for three-toed sloths in a forest, where we will be able to observe between 2 and 5 of them. We will return to the lodge to enjoy a continental breakfast, and then, after packing breakfast, we will say goodbye to the biodiversity of Peru. Finally, we will head to the city of Puerto Maldonado for the transfer.
