Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel in Puno at the agreed time to start our excursion to Chucuito, Aramu Muru and Juli, three towns full of charm and rich ancestral history.

First stop: Chucuito
We will visit this charming village on a hill overlooking Lake Titicaca, famous for its archaeological wealth. We will highlight the Temple of Fertility and other emblematic sites.

Second stop: Chullpas of Molloco
We will explore these fascinating pre-Columbian constructions. What was their purpose? Why their rounded shape? You will be surprised to find out!

Third stop: Andean Waru Waru
We will stop at the innovative floodable furrows that create a microclimate to protect crops from frost. Discover how this ancestral technique has endured over time!

Fourth stop: Aramu Muru
Known as the Gate of the Gods, this enigmatic place is the subject of legends about the arrival of divinities on Earth. We will reveal the mysteries surrounding this stone portal.

Fifth stop: Juli
Known as the Rome of Latin America, we will stroll through its impressive temples, such as St. Peter's, St. John Lateran and St. Dominic. In addition, you will admire masterpieces by Cusquenian artists.

Lunch and return
Before returning, we will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch on your own. Finally, we will drop you off at Puno's main square, where we will conclude this enriching day after approximately nine hours of exploration.
