The experience begins with pickup from the your hotel or accommodation in Funchal before heading toward the charming fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. This colorful village is known for its traditional boats, lively harbor, and connection to Winston Churchill. A short stop is made at the viewpoint Ilhéu de Câmara de Lobos, where travelers can enjoy panoramic views of the village, the beach, and the coastline.

The journey then continues to Cabo Girão, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. From the famous glass skywalk platform, visitors can admire breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, the dramatic cliffs, and the agricultural terraces far below.

Driving along the scenic west coast, the tour passes through Ribeira Brava before reaching the lush northern side of the island. The tour continues to Porto Moniz, famous for its natural volcanic swimming pools formed by lava rock and filled with crystal-clear Atlantic water. You will have time to explore the area and admire this unique natural landscape. While in Porto Moniz, you also have the option, if you wish, to try the local zipline or the giant scenic swing. These activities are completely optional, are not part of the tour itself, and any participation or payment would be arranged directly on site by the you.

After exploring the coast, the journey continues into the mountains toward the magical Fanal Forest, part of the UNESCO-listed Laurisilva forest. This unique and mystical place is known for its ancient laurel trees, open green landscapes, and the fog that often moves through the forest creating a magical atmosphere.

The route then crosses the Paul da Serra plateau, the largest plateau on the island, offering wide open landscapes and impressive views across the mountains and valleys of Madeira.
