The Libearty Bear Sanctuary is home to more than 100 rescued brown bears that were saved from circuses, private ownership, and unsuitable conditions. Today they live freely in a protected forest of over 60 hectares, where they can climb, swim, and behave naturally.

Your journey begins with pickup from your accommodation or any preferred location in Brașov. This is a 100% private experience, meaning you will travel only with your partner, family, friends, or by yourself—never with strangers.

Relax throughout the day with air conditioning, onboard Wi-Fi, complimentary bottled water, a traditional Romanian chocolate, and free child seats available upon request.

At the sanctuary, you'll join the official guided tour led by the sanctuary staff, where you'll learn the inspiring stories of the rescued bears and the important conservation work taking place.

Mobile phone photography at the sanctuary is free of charge. Professional cameras may require an additional fee (approximately 50 RON) according to the sanctuary's policy.
