From Belgrade: Novi Sad & Fruška Gora + Wine Tasting

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the agricultural and golden Pannonian Plain. As we head north, our guide will share stories about the turbulent history of this region where the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires once met, with a huge Serbian population influence in those.

Our first destination is the "Serbian Holy Mountain," Fruška Gora National Park. Hidden within its lush forests are 16 medieval Orthodox monasteries.
We will visit the most important one - Krušedol with fresco paintings from medieval period.

After that, we will have a scenic drive and walk through forests of Fruška Gora.

Then we descend to Sremski Karlovci town, which feels like a film set with masterpieces of baroque architecture. Ideal moment to include wine tasting in our story and discover best Serbian wines and his majesty - Bermet, authentic local sort of wine.

The Gibraltar on the Danube

Next, we explore the mighty Petrovaradin Fortress. As one of the largest and best-preserved fortifications in Europe, it offers a deep dive into 17th-century masterpieces of military engineering. Walk through its historic gates, see the iconic "Reverse Clock Tower," and enjoy the best panoramic view of the Danube and Novi Sad.

Novi Sad: The "Serbian Athens"
We conclude the day in Novi Sad, the 2022 European Capital of Culture. We will take a walking tour through its elegant pedestrian zones to see:

Liberty Square: The heart of the city, home to the neo-Gothic Name of Mary Church and the grand City Hall.

Bishop’s Palace & St. George’s Cathedral: Architectural gems featuring a masterpiece iconostasis painted by the famous Paja Jovanović.

The Novi Sad Synagogue: A breathtaking example of Hungarian Secession architecture and one of the largest synagogues in Europe.


After full day tour, we will return to Belgrade in early evening hours.
