Day 1: Kandy – Tedo 7 Waterfalls Peak – Knuckles Nature Campsite

Begin with a scenic drive from Kandy to the Knuckles Mountain Range. Enjoy a tea-tasting experience while passing through the beautiful hill country landscapes of Rangala. Arrive at Thangappuwa and begin your hike at approximately 9:30 AM.

Trek through cloud forests and rugged mountain trails to reach the stunning Tedo 7 Waterfalls Peak. Enjoy panoramic views of the Knuckles Mountain Range. Relax with a refreshing bath in natural pools beneath the waterfalls and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch surrounded by nature.

After lunch, continue another trek through scenic mountain terrain. Pass spectacular panoramic viewpoints, diverse flora and fauna, untouched natural landscapes, and adventure trails through the Knuckles wilderness. Arrive at the Knuckles Nature Campsite in the evening.

Spend the night under the stars surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. Enjoy a campfire experience (weather permitting) and a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Knuckles Nature Campsite – Heel Oya Village – Kandy

Wake up to the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast at the campsite. Today's trek covers approximately 10 km of smooth to moderate-grade trails through beautiful countryside landscapes.

Pass tea plantations, historic canal bunds, scenic rice fields, traditional home spice gardens, and encounter local village farmers. Gain insight into daily rural life and enjoy downhill waterfall trekking and river bathing opportunities.

At approximately 12:30 PM, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan buffet lunch prepared by local women from Heel Oya Farming Village. Watch an authentic village cooking demonstration and interact with local families. Learn traditional Sri Lankan cooking methods and enjoy a cultural exchange with village residents.

Continue exploring Heel Oya Farm Village and the surrounding Knuckles landscapes, experiencing the unique rural lifestyle and natural beauty of the region. In the evening, transfer by vehicle back to Kandy.
