Private Arusha National Park Safari with Expert Guide

Discover the natural beauty and wildlife of northern Tanzania on a private safari from Arusha. Explore Arusha National Park with an expert guide and enjoy a flexible pace.
Begin your day with pickup from your hotel or agreed location in Arusha. Travel in a private safari vehicle with an experienced driver-guide and enjoy a short scenic drive to the park entrance. After completing the required entry procedures, begin exploring the park’s varied landscapes, including montane forest, open grassland, the Momella Lakes, and the foothills of Mount Meru.

During the game drive, look for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, blue monkeys, and the striking black-and-white colobus monkey. Arusha National Park is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, with numerous waterbirds, forest species, and other colorful birds found throughout the park. Your guide will share information about wildlife behavior, ecosystems, conservation, and the geology of the surrounding landscape.

Because this is a private safari, you can enjoy a more flexible pace and spend more time at interesting wildlife sightings and scenic viewpoints. The park’s changing environments also provide excellent photography opportunities, from wildlife and forest scenery to lakes, mountains, and panoramic views.

Depending on the confirmed program, you may enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later in the day, leave the park and return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or agreed location.
