Hanoi: Huong Pagoda Day Trip with Boat and Cable Car

Discover the beauty of Huong Pagoda on a day trip from Hanoi. Enjoy a boat ride along the Yen Stream, visit the Thien Tru Pagoda, and take a cable car to Huong Tich Cave.
Begin your day with a pickup from one of two meeting points in Hanoi. Board your air-conditioned vehicle and head to Huong Pagoda, stopping for a 20-minute rest on the way.

Arrive at Huong Pagoda pier and board a boat along Yen stream. Admire the mountains with magnificent shapes such as Leo Fu and Raspberry Mountain and go over the Hoi Bridge, a very beautiful and famous part of Huong Pagoda.

Visit the Buddha ceremony at Thien Tru Pagoda, a temple located on the steps of Lao Mountain, built during the reign of King Le Thanh Tong (1460 - 1497). Stop for lunch at a restaurant to enjoy local specialties.

Take the cable car to visit the Buddha ceremony at Huong Tich Cave, which is known as the "Southern Thien First Cave." Admire the statue of The Bodhisattva Kannon made of blue stone carved in the Tay Son period and tens of thousands of stalactites with strange shapes: Mother's Milk Gourd, Affliction Flower, Rice Dunes, Money Dunes, Uncle Mountain, Co Mountain, Gold Tree, Silver Tree.

Take the cable car down to the foot of the mountain, then board the boat back to the pier. Say goodbye to Huong Pagoda and head back to Hanoi, stopping for a 20-minute rest on the way.
