## Private Day Trip to Champagne: Vineyards, Champagne Houses and Local Discoveries
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover the heart of Champagne on a private day trip with CareDrivers.
**Choose your departure location:** You can depart from Paris and be dropped off there at the end of the day, or start directly in Reims or Épernay, with a drop-off in one of these cities. A drop-off in Paris is also possible for an additional fee if you choose the option from Reims or Épernay.
In a premium vehicle, accompanied by your local driver, discover the vineyards, Champagne villages and iconic landmarks of the region.
### A flexible route, tailored to your preferences
Here is our typical route, which can be adapted according to your preferences and availability:
* **Morning – Champagne House in Reims:** Discover a prestigious Champagne House such as Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot or Ruinart, depending on availability. Tours and tastings must be booked and paid for separately.
* **Reims Cathedral:** After the Champagne house, enjoy a stop to admire the famous Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, a jewel of Gothic architecture.
* **Lunch:** Enjoy a restaurant chosen according to your tastes and desires. We can recommend places that suit your preferences.
* **Afternoon – Épernay:** Discover the famous Avenue de Champagne and its prestigious mansions before continuing with your day.
* **A second Champagne house:** Visit a house or an independent producer in the Epernay area and its surroundings, possibly in a wine-growing village, depending on availability.
* **Vineyards and panoramas:** Enjoy vantage points over the vineyards and discover iconic villages such as Hautvillers, historically associated with Dom Perignon, depending on your route.
### Your day, your schedule
This route is a suggestion and not a set itinerary. You can follow our suggestion, let us know your preferences, or arrange your own reservations with the Champagne houses. We will tailor the day to your preferences and the availability on the day.
