Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Tusheti National Park on a 3-day tour from Tbilisi. Explore medieval tower villages, enjoy traditional Tushetian cuisine, and stay in family guesthouses.
Day 1: Tbilisi to Omalo

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Tbilisi, passing through the Gombori Pass and Stori Gorge. Cross the famous Abano Pass, one of Europe’s most adventurous mountain roads, and arrive in Omalo village.

Visit the Tusheti Visitor Center and explore the medieval Keselo Towers, a UNESCO heritage candidate site. Walk around Old Omalo before enjoying a dinner of traditional Georgian and Tushetian dishes in a family guesthouse. Spend the night in Omalo.

Day 2: Dartlo, Bochorna, and Ancient Tower Villages

After breakfast, set off on a full-day exploration of Tusheti’s most beautiful and historic villages. Visit Dartlo, Kvavlo, Dano, Bochorna (one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in Europe), Dochu, and Jvarboseli.

In Dartlo, visit the ancient courtroom where even women once served as judges, a unique historical fact of Tushetian culture. Explore restored stone towers and traditional slate-stone houses. Enjoy lunch in nature surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. Return to Omalo in the evening for dinner and overnight in a family guesthouse.

Day 3: Shenako, Diklo, and Return to Tbilisi

After breakfast, visit Shenako Village, Diklo and Old Diklo, Diklo Fortress, and St. George Church in Shenako (19th century). Enjoy panoramic mountain views and, if lucky, spot wild animals such as East Caucasian tur (Niamori) and rare bird species.

Return to Tbilisi via Abano Pass, stopping for lunch on the way. Arrive in Tbilisi in the evening.
