The parent organization is Plgi (Indonesian Hang Gliding Association), while Pgi itself is under the auspices of Fsi (Indonesian Aero Sport Federation). The sport of paragliding takes off from a hillside or mountain using the wind. The wind used as a source of lifting power that causes this parachute to float high in space consists of two types, namely, rising wind that hits the slope (dynamic lift) and rising wind caused by thermal (thermal lift).
