Upon arrival, you will first be guided through Tondaya, a machiya (traditional wooden townhouse) nationally recognized as an Important Cultural Property and cultural asset. Tondaya is a treasure trove of historically valuable artifacts and stories, and our knowledgeable staff look forward to sharing its rich history with you.
After the tour, you will be served an authentic Kyoto-style kaiseki meal prepared by a seasoned Kyoto chef. In keeping with the traditions of Kyoto cuisine, the chef carefully selects ingredients and adjusts the menu according to the season and the occasion. Please enjoy this multi-course cuisine while gazing out at a beautifully illuminated garden. The harmonious blend of soft lighting and the refined atmosphere of this historic townhouse creates a truly enchanting dining experience.

- Our dedicated staff are experienced in a variety of traditional arts, including kimono, tea ceremony, calligraphy, and ikebana. While not all staff members speak English, we will do our best to arrange an interpreter. Please note that a translation device may be used when necessary.
