Experience authentic Japanese home-cooked dishes in a convenient central location in Nagoya, guided by a local host.

This hands-on cooking experience focuses on simple, everyday Japanese foods that you can easily recreate at home after returning to your country. All dishes are commonly prepared in Japanese households, using ingredients that are easy to find overseas.

Before cooking, you may also enjoy a short visit to a nearby local supermarket, where we will introduce typical Japanese ingredients and explain what to look for when shopping in Japan or abroad. This helps you better understand Japanese food culture and makes the experience even more practical.

To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience, most ingredients will be pre-cut and prepared in advance. You don’t need any special cooking skills — you will simply take part in the final cooking steps and finishing touches, making it easy, fun, and stress-free.

Cooking Menu Options

You can choose one of the following menu options:

Option 1: Sushi & Classic Japanese Dishes

Maki Sushi (Rolled Sushi)
Temari Sushi (Ball-shaped Sushi)
Japanese Rolled Omelet (Tamagoyaki)
This option is perfect for first-time visitors who want to experience traditional Japanese flavors and presentation.

Option 2: Japanese Curry Rice

Learn how to prepare Japanese-style curry, a beloved comfort food eaten in homes across Japan.
This mild, rich curry is very different from Indian or Thai curry and is extremely popular with families and children. It is one of the most reproducible Japanese dishes overseas, using easily available ingredients.
Tips on recreating the dish at home using curry roux or substitutes

Option 3: Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savory Pancake)

Make Okonomiyaki, a fun and interactive dish often described as “Japanese savory pancake.”
You’ll cook it step by step and learn how to customize it to your taste, making it a great dish to recreate for friends and family back home.

After cooking, we will sit down together to enjoy the meal, share stories, and take photos if you like.

This experience is perfect for travelers who want more than sightseeing — it’s ideal for those interested in Japanese culture, daily life, and practical cooking skills they can take home with them.
