Arrive at Zenibako, a dramatic winter beach famous for its appearance in Japanese films such as First Love and Love Letter.
In winter, the contrast between the frozen shoreline, snow-covered land, and deep blue sea creates a rare and cinematic landscape — a scene reminiscent of an ice-age coastline.

10:30 | Otaru Aquarium Area & Shukutsu Observatory
Arrive at the Otaru Aquarium area, where guests will have free time to explore at their own pace.
Guests may optionally visit Otaru Aquarium independently to see marine life exhibits.
No specific animal shows or scheduled performances are included in this experience.
After the aquarium visit, take a short walk (approx. 300 meters) to Shukutsu Observatory. From this viewpoint, enjoy a vast panoramic view of the Sea of Japan — a quiet, open landscape that feels remote and awe-inspiring.

13:00 | Otaru City Center & Free Time (Otaru Station Area)
Arrive in central Otaru and enjoy free time to explore the city on foot.

A short walk (approx. 300 meters) to Funamizaka Slope, known for its romantic atmosphere, ocean views, and film-like scenery that changes beautifully with weather and light

15:20 | Mt. Tengu Ropeway & Scenic Viewpoint
Arrive at Mt. Tengu, the highest viewpoint in Otaru. Take in sweeping views over the city, harbor, and surrounding mountains.
In the late afternoon, the scenery transitions into the famous blue hour, followed by one of Hokkaido’s most impressive night views — a perfect finale for photography lovers.

Depart Otaru and begin the return journey.
