Everest Base Camp (Aggressive) is a thrilling, tough and amazing Himalayan trek from Lukla to Kala Patthar that is mostly a steady climb from 2800m/9187 ft to 5545m/18193ft.

In this Everest Base Camp Leisurely Trek, you’ll see the side of the country that does what it does and it is to capture your imagination not just the mountains but the people you meet.

The Everest Base Camp Leisurely Trek takes to you on the classic trekking trails of Nepal, the route was used by various climbers including Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzin Norgay Sherpa on their way to scale the mighty Everest, also used by various traders and merchants in the past. This trail takes you across vast territories of lush dense wilderness, remote alpine regions, mountain ranges, glacier moraine and folds, lakes, and raging rivers. Where you’ll be happy to travel, discover new things, and meet new people.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 meters/ 4593 feet)
The flight into Nepal is breathtaking with views of endless rows of mountains and lush hills. Once you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and are done with your immigration formalities, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative from the Alpine Club of Himalaya who will drive you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Day 2: Sightseeing Kathmandu (1,400 meters/ 4593 feet)

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2860 meters/ 9383 feet) trek to Phakding (2610 meters/8562 feet)
Day 4: Trek to Namche (3440 meters/11286 feet)
Day 5: Acclimatize at Namche (3440 meters/11286 feet)
Day 6: Trek Pangboche (3985 meters/13074 feet)
Day 7: Trek Dingboche (4410 meters/ 14468 feet)
Day 8: Acclimatize Dingboche (4410 meters/ 14468 feet)
Day 9: Trek Lobuche (4940 meters/16207 feet)
Day 10: Trek Gorak Shep (5164 meters/16942 feet) and Everest Base Camp (5364 meters/17598 feet) and back to Gorak Shep
Day 11: Trek Kala Patthar (5555 meters/18225 feet ) and return trek to Pheriche (4371 meters/14340 feet)
Day 12: Trek back to Tengboche (3860 meters/12664 feet)
Day 13: Trek back to Namche Bazzar (3440 meters/11286 feet)
Day 14: Trek back Lukla (2860 meters/ 9383 feet)
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,400 meters/ 4593 feet)
Day 16: Departure
Today you’ll be returning back to your country. The Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will drop you at the airport three hours before your flight departs. If you prefer to stay longer, you can consult us for short tours such as game drives at National parks, rafting, mountain biking, Tibet, India, or Bhutan tours, etc.
