Explore the natural beauty of Tromsø on an electric fatbike tour. Cycle through the city and the unique "Tromsømarka" - the forestry areas spreading across out city, and learn about the local culture and nature from your guide.
Meet your guide and get kitted out with your bike and helmet. After a short introduction, your guide will help set up your bike and show you how it works. Then, set off on your adventure. In the summer, follow the roads and local cycle trails, which are a mix of earth and gravel. In the winter, cycle on the roads and compact, groomed trails prepared for cycling. If there is not enough light at the time when you come we use headlamps and bike lights.
The tour is tailored to the group's fitness level, cycling experience, and the current weather conditions. As you ride learn about the local nature, culture, and what life is like above the Arctic Circle and gain your confidence in riding a bike in the wintry, snowy conditions.
With high peaks in the distance, it’s like stepping into a different world, leaving the city behind.
Guide will bring for you hot during and a traditional locally produced sweet snack - lefse, made by the popular Tove's Tradisjonsmat ca 40 km away from Tromsø.
Tour starts and finish at Tromsø Outdoor, right in the city centre of Tromsø, close to the most of the city hotels, restaurants and other attractions.

WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN
Suitable clothing is a must due to rapidly changing weather conditions.
Please bring: Wind/waterproof clothes, extra jumper, hiking/winter boots, gloves, and hat, optionally: small backpack, sun-cream, sunglasses.
Winter clothing and boots are available for rent from our rental center. Please let us know before the tour if you would like to book these (service fees apply).
Activity is available from 1st December to 31st March
Meeting point is Tromsø Outdoor, 10 minutes prior to departure
Group size is limited to a maximum of 6 participants
Campaigns and special discounts may be announced at any time. Availability of last-minute discounted spots is limited and cannot be guaranteed.
The guide will meet you outside of Tromsø Outdoor activity and rental centre, 10 minutes prior to the tour departure.
