Start your tour from Huaraz at 10:00 AM and discover some of the cultural and natural attractions of the Áncash region on a journey combining archaeology, nature and hot springs.
Your first stop will be at the Pampamaca textile workshop, where you can learn about local textile traditions and see part of the traditional craftsmanship of the area.
Continue to the archaeological complex of Honcopampa, located at approximately 3,450 meters (11,318 feet) above sea level. This ancient site was used for ceremonial and religious purposes by the communities that inhabited the region. During your visit, explore the archaeological remains and learn more about their historical and cultural importance.
Next, take a walk along a natural trail toward Yurac Yaku Waterfall, also known as Agua Blanca. The walk allows you to enjoy the Andean landscapes and surrounding natural environment as you make your way to the waterfall.
After visiting the waterfall, continue the journey back toward Huaraz. Along the way, stop at Chancos Hot Springs, where you will have free time to enjoy the thermal waters, pools, bathing areas and natural caves, depending on the areas available at the time of your visit.
Entrance to Chancos Hot Springs is not included in the tour price and must be paid directly at the site. Admission fees may vary depending on the visitor category. We recommend bringing cash.
