We will begin our tour by visiting the main attractions of Arequipa, such as the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, and the Compañía de Jesús Church, where we will give a brief explanation about the history of the church and its construction.

The cloisters of the Compañía de Jesús, located in the historic center on the left side of the Compañía de Jesús Church, feature sculpted ashlar arches and beautiful corridors. We'll go to the Tristán del Pozo mansion, a building whose façade pediment is, for many architectural scholars, the best example of the typical ornamentation of Arequipa, Peru.

Later, we will head to the Plaza and Church of San Francisco, which together make up one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, being the fourth temple and the third house of the religious order. Then, we will head to the Barrio de San Lázaro, the most representative neighborhood of Arequipa.

We'll continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena, which was closed for centuries. It's a citadel built of mud and ashlar with magnificent fresco paintings, and it covers an area of 20,000 square meters. We will have the opportunity to walk through its narrow streets, squares, and cloisters with huge Sillar walls and rustic stone wash houses.
