Explore the mysterious formations of the Ballestas Islands and discover the historical past of the Paracas Reserve. Discover the imposing geoglyph on a dune in the middle of the sea known as “El Candelabro.”
We will begin picking up passengers from hotels in downtown Ica and Huacachina between 6:40 AM and 7:20 AM. We will then travel to the town of Paracas, which is located 1 hour from Ica.
Once in Paracas, we will proceed to the tourist pier to board a group tour boat for approximately 40 passengers. We will begin our sightseeing tour with a licensed bilingual Spanish- and English-speaking tour guide.
Our first stop will be in the middle of the sea, off the coast of a mountain, where we will be able to admire the imposing geoglyph known as "El Candelabro" (The Candelabra).
We will then continue our tour, heading towards the Ballestas Islands, where we will be able to observe incredible natural formations shaped like arches and encounter a wide variety of marine wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, seabirds, and crustaceans, among others.
After visiting all the islands, we will return to the Paracas tourist pier, where passengers will be given time to use the restrooms.
We will gather the passengers in our tour bus and then head for the Paracas National Reserve. We will visit the peninsula's viewpoint, where we can take in a large portion of the Paracas National Reserve from a very high mountain.
Next, we will visit Playa Roja, a beach known for its red sand, which is due to the high concentration of natural iron found in a rocky mountain located in front of the beach.
Next, we will visit Lagunillas Beach, where passengers will have time to have lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. They will be able to enjoy a variety of seafood dishes, such as mixed ceviche, jalea (a type of fish jelly), sudado de pescado (a fish stew), rice with seafood, and more.
Afterward, we will visit Playa la Mina, renowned as the most beautiful beach in the entire Paracas Reserve. Here, passengers will have time to go for a swim.
Finally, we will gather the passengers in our tour bus to return them to the city of Ica and their respective hotels. The activity is scheduled to end between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.

P.S.: Please note the following situations:
- On public holidays, pick-up will be 30 minutes earlier than usual (6:00 a.m.) and will take place at Plaza de Armas and Oasis de la Huacachina. The ending point for the tour is Plaza de Armas in Ica.
- In the event of bad weather on the day of the tour, before the activity begins, the client will be offered 2 options:
Option 1: Go on the tour conditionally, i.e., visit Paracas and wait in the morning for the weather to improve before visiting the Ballestas Islands. If there is no departure to the Ballestas Islands in the morning, passengers will be offered a refund of S/40.00 per person. The tour will then continue to the Paracas National Reserve.
Option 2: Cancel the activity and receive a 100% refund due to bad weather.
