Discover Romania's castles on a day trip from Bucharest. Visit Peles, Cantacuzino, and Bran Castles, and explore the medieval town of Brașov on a guided walking tour.
The service we want to offer you consists of ensuring an unforgettable day within the Transylvanian historical objectives established for your holiday in Romania. The trip will be organized in private groups of 4 and 8 people with the company's vehicles where you can benefit from increased comfort, wi-fi connection, still water on hot days, as well as an English speaker who will introduce you to the local beauties.

Begin your journey with a pickup from your accommodation in Bucharest.
Head to Sinaia to visit Peleș Castle, the former residence of the kings of Romania. Admire the castle's furniture, ornamental objects, carpets, tapestries, sculptures, paintings, and weapon collections from the 15th-19th centuries. See the Grand Armory, the Music Room, and the Hall of Mirrors. Take a stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens and capture some photos.

Next, visit Cantacuzino Castle, the former summer residence of Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, nicknamed "The Nabob" due to his impressive wealth. Built in 1911, the castle is a masterpiece of neo-Romanian architecture with neo-Brancovian elements. Explore the castle park, which is similar to European royal parks, with paved alleys, artesian fountains, a grotto, trees, flower gardens, and sculptures. Enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view in the entire area.

Continue your journey to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. This medieval fortress exudes mystery and charm, perched dramatically on a rocky hilltop. Uncover the castle's labyrinthine corridors, hidden staircases, and dimly lit rooms on a guided tour that delves into its rich history. Learn about the castle's strategic mission as the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. As you explore the castle’s ancient corridors and secret passageways, uncover the real stories behind the legend.

Next, enjoy free time for lunch in the town of Brașov. Located at the foot of the Carpathians, Brașov is a picturesque city with a beautifully preserved medieval center. On a guided walking tour, explore the cobbled streets, admire the vibrant Baroque and Gothic architecture, and pass landmarks such as the Black Church, one of the largest Gothic churches in Eastern Europe. Start exploring this fascinating Transylvanian town from its main square, and stroll around its well-kept historical center as you see sights like the Gothic Black Church, old City Hall, and the narrowest street in Europe. Take a moment to stroll through the lively Piața Sfatului, surrounded by pastel-colored buildings and framed by mountain views. With its cozy cafes, picturesque shops, and rich history, Brașov is the perfect mix of old-world charm and modern vitality.

After a day of exploration, relax on the comfortable vehicle ride back to Bucharest. Reflect on the day's experiences as you traverse the scenic Romanian landscape. Return to Bucharest in the evening, enriched with memories of an incredible journey through Romania’s history and natural beauty.
